His achievements include a Grammy nomination\, the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award\, and major large-scale musical projects that have entered the Guinness World Records. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2025 by the Government of India for his contribution to the arts. \nHarshad Kanetkar is an accomplished Indian tabla soloist\, accompanist\, and teacher\, admired for the clarity and crispness of his technique\, strong command of laya\, and versatility.
