What’s in Store for 2021
Our 2021 season is underway! Our season opened with a live telecast of a concert of Hindustani vocals from Pune by Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar Ji (Senior Disciple of Padma Vibhushan Late Kishori Amonkar Ji) on January 2, 2021.
We have multiple events planned for the coming months including some of India’s finest artists live-streamed to your living room. Below is just a short list of some of the artists we have planned. As in all of our seasons, we feature seasoned veterans who are legends in their own rights and the younger generation who give promise to this great tradition. This year’s live-streamed programs are presented in highest quality audio and video through Shadaj Baithak on YouTube live with our partners Shadaj, Inc. We are also in the works of planning digital concerts featuring our local artists and students in keeping with our mission in Houston. To gain access to all our events please consider membership to our organization. For the 2021 Season the IMS Board has unanimously voted to reduce the annual membership to $100 from the current $200 for the entire family for 2021 Season.
