Our 2021 season is again underway! After many months of lockdown in India which effected so many of our dear friends and artists, Indian Music Society of Houston is ready to announce our next program. On Sunday July 25, 2021 at 9AM (CDT) and 7:30PM (Indian Standard Time) we are presenting a live telecast of Pt. Shounak Abhisheki jointly with Shadaj, Inc. We have multiple events planned for the coming months including some of India’s finest artists live-streamed to your living room. Below is just a short list of some of the artists we have planned. As in all of our seasons, we feature seasoned veterans who are legends in their own rights and the younger generation who give promise to this great tradition. This year’s live-streamed programs are presented in highest quality audio and video through Shadaj Baithak on YouTube live with our partners Shadaj, Inc. We are also in the works of planning digital concerts featuring our local artists and students in keeping with our mission in Houston.
