Local Artists Series (Concert 2) – ‘Younger Generation’ : December 4th at 3:30pm

In keeping with the 25 years tradition of offering a platform to perform to the classicaly trained paid members and their children, Indian Music Society of Houston has scheduled three concerts of local artists with full accompaniments. This will be the second in the series and feature younger artists live streamed from the Anjali Center on the IMS Youtube Channel – Free for all to view.

Sitar Recital by Shane Monds (Disciple of Abhik Mukherjee) and accompanied by Pt. Shantilal Shah, tabla and Arpita Beechar, tanpura
Hindustani Vocal recital by Krisha Rath, disciple of Mrs. Vinita Arora
Hindustani Vocal recital by Sanjita Kelkar – disciple of Mrs. Shruti Sample
Tabla solo by Darsh Shetty, Riaan Shah, and Mohnish Ravuri (students of Tabla Houston) under the tutelage of Pt. Shantilal Shah
