IMS Proudly Presents:
A CONCERT OF MORNING RAGAS BY THREE YOUNG STALWARTS OF HINDUSTANI CLASSICAL MUSIC. This is a rare opportunity for our Classical Music Lovers to listen to the Morning Ragas which are said to be perhaps the most evocative of the time and are soothing and calm in nature.

PT Bhuvanesh Komkali – Grandson of Legendary PT Kumar Gandharva, winner of the prestigious Ustaad Bismilla Khan Yuva Puraskar by the Sangeet Natak Academy; Mallikarjun Manor Yuva Puraskar By Govt of Karnataka. Bhuvanesh Ji’s musical quest continues today under the tutelage of Smt. Vasundhara Komkali and Shri Madhup Mudgal.

Sanjay Deshpande on Tabla : Sanjay Deshpande is disciple of Late Pt. Sabade at Pune Bharat Gayan Samaj. Later he took Taleem from Taal Yogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar Ji, in a Guru Shishya Parampara . At present he is taking guidance from PT Yogesh Samsi and Pt. Vivek Joshi. Sanjay is recipient of the coveted “Ahmedjaan Thirakwaa Scholarship” for Solo Performance

Abhishek Shinker on Harmonium: He took primary music lessons from Shakar Mahajan and later under the guidance of PT Nathrao Neralkar for 5 years under Guru-Shishya Parampara. He continues his lessons on harmonium from PT Pramod Marathe at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya
