Yashaswi Sirpotdar

IMS is proud to present younger generation and upcoming artists series starting with vocal recital by Yashaswati Sirpotdar on February 19, which is Streamed Live  at 9 AM (CST)/ 8.30 PM (IST) from a Professional Studio in Pune.

Yashaswi is a child prodigy – started learning from her grandmother at the age of 2  and became a disciple of Pandita Padma Talwalkar Ji at the age of 5 and learned from her for 18 years under Guru Shishya Parampara tradition. She is Graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. She is the winner of the prestigious Ustaad Bismilla Khan Yuva Puraskar Award by Sangeet Natak Akadami.

Rohit Mujumdar, a well established Tabla Player of younger generation. He received initial training under Sri Babanrao Bhavsar and later became a disciple of Taal Yogi PT Suresh Talwalkar Ji at the age of 11.  He is an A Grade Artist of AIR and has accompanied artists at the Sawai Gandharva Music Festival.

Rahul Gole on Harmonium. Rahul is a Chartered Accountant and self taught harmonium player; has played Reed Organ for many Marathi Sangeet Nataks; he is the grandson of Ganpatrao Bodas- highly recognized Actor/Director on Marathi Stage plays.
