Born in the family of legendary musicians Joshi Sisters received their training under their grandfather – the late Gayanacharya Pandit Gajananbuwa Joshi who was trained in three gharanas: Gwalior, Agra and and Jaipur. Their great grandfather Pandit Antubua Joshi was an eminent court musician in the erstwhile state of Aundh, Satara District.
