Vivek Sonar is one of the finest younger generation flutist. He is a senior disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia- a musical genius. Vivek has performed at some of the major Music Festivals like Sawai Gandhrva, Mogubai Kurdikar Sangeet Samarth…to name a few. Vivek founded the ‘Bansuri Utsav’, India’s music festival exclusively dedicated to the flute, where renowned flautists from across the country perform.

Being from a small town in the interiors of Maharashtra, Vivek was well aware of the challenges young, and talented musicians faced in India. To help such talent get trained and recognized, Vivek set up Gurukul Prathisthan, a charitable trust for dedicated learners who are staying in Gurukul and taking guidance in Traditional Gurukul System of learning music. Today Gurukul Prathisthan’s music academy has over thousand students enrolled from India and abroad.

On Tabla is Aditya Kalyanpur – a gifted and vibrant tabla player – a disciple of Late Ustaad Allah Rakha Saheb and Ustaad Zakir Hussain. At the age of 11, he accompanied his guruji  Ustaad Zakir Hussain Ji for the Taj Tea Commercial called “Wah Ustaad”. He has accompanied almost every major artist and performed at every major music festival in India and abroad.
